A beautifully constructed Atos Lombardini blouse, made in Italy, with an unusually sculptural take on classic white shirting. This piece is built entirely around proportion, movement and layered construction. A wide circular ruffle sweeps around the neckline and across the shoulders, creating an elegant cape-like effect, while cut-away shoulder sections introduce a clean flash of skin beneath. A second tier of fluttering fabric forms the sleeves, giving the blouse movement without adding unnecessary volume through the body. The most distinctive detail is the asymmetrical front button fastening, which travels diagonally across the torso and is incorporated into another softly cascading ruffle. This diagonal construction breaks up the traditional shirt silhouette and gives the blouse an almost deconstructed, runway-inspired character while still remaining very wearable.
