A beautifully simple pure merino knit from Country Road, made from 100% traceable Australian Merino wool in an exceptionally good saturated aqua-blue shade. This is one of those deceptively simple wardrobe pieces where the quality is in the fabric and proportion. The fine merino knit is lightweight, soft and fluid, giving the sweater warmth without the bulk of a traditional winter jumper. The silhouette is deliberately relaxed, with dropped shoulders and a loose, softly draped body. A clean V-neckline keeps the upper half flattering and open, while the minimalist construction allows the vivid blue color to become the focus. The hem is particularly nice. The knit falls into a gently curved hem. This gives it an easy contemporary shape and allows it to sit beautifully over trousers and jeans.
