When still, it looks neat and refined, but when walking the outer layer opens and moves softly around the body. Underneath is a fully opaque 100% polyester lining, which is particularly important with this style because the pleated outer layer itself is lightly sheer. The lining provides coverage while allowing the pleated layer to remain light and fluid. The waistband is simple and elasticated, making the skirt comfortable and easy to wear without interrupting the clean line of the pleats. The silhouette sits somewhere between a classic knee-length pleated skirt and a slightly shorter modern midi depending on height.
