• Matador-inspired metallic sequin jacket from Witchery’s premium range • Patchwork style sequin panels on a textured woven base • Base fabric is 30% silk, 55% cotton, and 15% Lurex (metallic thread) • Sequins are metal and have an aged/tarnished finish – see close-up photos • Cropped with three-quarter length sleeves This is an amazing statement jacket from around 2010 when Witchery was producing expensive, highly embellished evening pieces. It retailed for $399 AUD – approx $480 NZD. It’s rare for Witchery to do premium blazers these days, but when they do they cost around $700 NZD. It mixes four different sizes of sequin, including some tiny ones that are arranged in small squares along the side seams (see photo 6) and around the collar – so beautiful and intricate. Excellent condition. I’ve had a thorough check and I can’t see any missing sequins or loose threads; this is very well constructed and the sequins are securely attached. Incredibly glamorous over a silk dress or with tuxedo trousers, but super cool dressed down with denim and a t-shirt. Size 6 on the label. I think it’s true to size, but please check the measurements. Measurements taken when laid flat: Underarm to underarm (across back): 45cm Shoulders (straight across): 38cm Front length (top of shoulder seam to longest point): 49cm Back length (excluding collar): 43.5cm
