A beautiful mid-century Scandinavian glass set designed by Willy Johansson for Hadeland Glassverk, Norway, circa 1967. Smoke-grey hand-blown glass with Johansson's signature sculptural hourglass silhouette - each piece pinched at the waist with a gently flared top. The pitcher has an elegant curved handle and pouring lip; the four tall glasses share the same distinctive form. One glass retains the original gold Hadeland Norway foil label. Willy Johansson was head designer at Hadeland from 1947, and his work is held in major design collections including Norway's National Museum (Nasjonalmuseet).
