Would this be adequate to use as a charm necklace?

Hi there :) Yes, it would definitely be adequate in terms of strength — the chain itself is sturdy enough to support charms, as the base metal is stainless steel. The only thing I would mention is that, depending on how you’re planning to attach the charms (e.g. with jump rings), a Figaro chain may not be the most practical style. The links are designed to interlock in a particular way, which is what allows the chain to lie flat and gives it that pattern from the variation in link size. I do have some other 18K gold-plated chains that aren’t currently listed which may be better suited to a charm necklace. I have a curb chain that has enough thickness for hanging charms to dangle nicely. Hope that helps!
