Hi there :) Although the label says it's a US size L, I think the photo on the mannequin is a good guide to how it fits. The mannequin is around a size 8, so that should give you a good idea of how the dress looks on a size 8–10. The dress is made from a stretchy fabric and is designed with an oversized, blousy top that billows over the fitted skirt (so you could always belt it with a slim belt or tie and it wouldn't necessarily be visible). The drop-waistband (which sits between the waist/hip area) measures 33cm across when laid flat and unstretched, and based on the measurements I would expect it to work for around a NZ size 8–10. Of course, fit can vary depending on body shape and how you prefer the dress to sit. If it ended up being a little too roomy, it's likely that putting it through a the dryer would shrink it slightly too. Hope this helps :)
