A beautifully preserved vintage Hermès Constance belt featuring the harder-to-find Martelée hammered gold H buckle - an artisanal variation of the classic Hermès H hardware that feels far more refined, jewellery-like and understated than the standard polished versions. This piece was sourced for me in Tokyo in 2015 by a trusted vintage luxury specialist after I had spent a long time searching specifically for the Martelée hammered gold buckle paired with the rich warm cognac grained leather strap. I’m only selling because I’ve not been able to fit it for a long time. What initially drew me to this belt was the hardware itself. Unlike the more common polished Hermès H buckles, the hammered Martelée finish has a softly textured surface that catches the light beautifully and wears exceptionally well over time.
