Marilyn Sainty Vintage New Zealand fashion, this sheer, lightweight button-up shirt is from Marilyn Sainty’s 1999 collection (explicitly dated on the interior care tag). Beautiful sheer, textured horizontal stripe pattern in earth tones. The fabric is made in Italy and has a fluid drape. Features subtle metal-rimmed button closures down the front and a sharp, clean collar. Size: L on tag (Would best fit a contemporary NZ 12 to a slim 14, or worn oversized on smaller sizes) Fabric: 46% Viscose, 40% Acetate, 14% Polyamide (Fabric made in Italy). 100% Silk bindings. Era: 1999 Condition Notes (Please Read): This piece is over 25 years old and crafted from a delicate, very fine sheer fabric. It has been worn and loved, and shows a few minor signs of age: There is some minor loss of weft on one shoulder, causing the fabric to look threadbare in that spot. There are a couple of odd, tiny pinholes in the sheer fabric due to its delicate nature. Because of the busy striped pattern and the sheer texture, these flaws are hard to spot when worn.
