Hey! I bought it from a Japanese secondhand shop. I purchased it in this condition and haven’t used it myself. The darkening on the handles is from normal use- this saddle leather is highly absorbent, so the previous owner likely used hand lotion, and combined with natural skin oils, the handles have developed a darker patina over time.
