Hi, yes there is a slight pleat down the front, the fabric is very flowy rather than stiff so it’s not a hard pleat down the front but more of a soft looking pleat if that makes sense

Sorry I only just seen this, they could but they would be tighter fitting, but they would best fit a size 8 I would say, depends on how you would like them to fit :)
