Circa 2006/2007 Sylvester by Kate Sylvester kimono-style top made from 100% silk dupion fabric with velvet trim. Gorgeous tie-back with either a bow or wrap around kimono style and such a pretty pattern. This is a beautifully (NZ made) piece of NZ fashion which I have kept for sentimental reasons, but neither of my teen daughters want it and it's time someone else got to enjoy it! I used to wear it with jeans & heels but it would look lovely over a slip dress or with a silk skirt or black pants for work/formal. It's a size S but has a small bust area (I'm an E cup and it was ok when I was smaller but would sit better on smaller breasts. Shown here on a size 6-8 C-cup. Has plenty of room through the waist as you can tie it looser. Great condition as it probably wasn't worn many times, but the dupion silk has (normal) flaws as the fabric is meant to look textured/rough as you can see in the pictures.
