Junya Watanabe Tattoo Jeans from 2006/7 Watanabe's career with Comme des Garcons is one for the history books. After completing his studies in 1984 he became Rei Kawakubo's protege and worked for her as a pattern maker. In 1987 he became head designer for the Tricot line and then the Homme. In 1992 he was given his own eponymous label under the Comme des Garcons umbrella and has continued to present four collections every year since. A core part of Watanabe's brand is denim, sometimes traditional but oftentimes not. These Jeans are a traditional indigo jean with a low-mid rise and a tapered leg, crafted from non-stretch denim. The left leg features a "stick" motif in a vintage tattoo style. Tagged Size S Styled here with the Twisted Inside Sleeve Top by Comme des Garcons. If available, these will be in our other listings.
