Hi - a women's 40 is normally a US9 i think - are these men's that they are US7?

Hi I'm sorry I'm not sure. They are the same as the picture. I am an 8 and they are too big so will fit a womans 9. Maybe they are funny sizing? If your a 9 you will definitely fit
