Hey Maddie, It is still somewhat cropped but if you wore high waisted pants or skirt you would be safe. When the cords are loosened, the middle section comes down in line with the sides and back (length of back/sides can be seen in the photos of model). Hope that helps x

Is it a true size 6 or could be ok for a 8, 10?

Hi Romy, I'm size 6 - 8, I'd say it's truer size 6 - 8 due to the bodice. I wouldn't recommend for size 8 - 10.
