Le Jardin Tranquille 1931 and Le Jardin Joyeux 1957 are a homage to the Old Rectory, a childhood home of the designer. "This special place, surrounded by long lawns, flower gardens, orchards and vegetable patches, was our magical playground by the sea, which we would visit every summer. 1931 is the year my grandmother was born and represents her calm and gentle nature. 1957 is the year my mother was born and represents the ties between the generation above and below her." Chalk on card. Hand drawn and printed in New Zealand. Printed on 210 gsm, acid-free stock, with a beautifully smooth, enhanced matte finish.
